Had a disussion with Ian last night that it is important we dun over protect our kids such that they dun learn how to discern and grow in curiosity for the things we keep them from. Rather, it is better we watch certain shows with them and give guidance as to why this area is not appropriate etc, what’s the connotation here… The thing is how are they going to evangelize to the world...

Fear & Reverence - Lost in Translation
Fear- everytime we see it in the Word in our English bibles, we take it at face value, but should we? Does “fear” mean more than simply fear? :) Psalms 119:38 Establish to Thy servant Thy saying, That [is] concerning Thy fear. The Original Hebrew for “fear” over here is “Yirah” which does not mean a horrified sort of afraid, it means “reverence”....

Thank you Jesus for the myriad blessings that we have experienced as a family this year. Looking back @ 2009, it truly had been a time of plenty and perfect provision.
