I haven’t been doing quiet time as much as I should. The more I need to do, the more I need to be quiet by His feet. I really miss spending time doing “the one thing which is most needful”.
I have been distracted by housework, by parenting, by socializing with fellow mummies, by moderating… All fine activities and not meant to be shirked off. But the bible says that WISDOM is the principal thing. My wisdom comes from my interaction with the living word of Christ & if it is the principal thing, it should be the very first thing I do each morning. My dependence should not be on man’s approval or man’s suggestion. It should be spirit led and spirit fulfilled. What may seem foolish to the world might be important in the Word.
Ultimately, there is nothing wrong interacting with the world. We still need to attend to our responsibilities and aren’t disallowed from enjoying life to the full in Him. But the key issue is to first sit at His feet and listen. That listening gives us life and life more abundantly. That listening gives us clarity to see our journey as we walk through this life. :)

Life in Christ is a journey filled with hope, joy, grace and unconditional love. This is just me, walking with Christ through life and knowing that in Him, I am secure. My marriage is secure on the bedrock of Christ. And our sons gives me great insight on the gift of Love.
